The menopause can feel like a lonely journey at times. Although you may have friends and family that can support you, sometimes what’s needed is a safe space online where you can share your experience with women going through the same situation as you. With people who truly understand what you’re going through. This is where an online menopause support group can help.

The Menopausal Godmother Community

The Menopausal Godmother is an online community to which you can log on at any time of day and receive advice, support or just have a chat.

The menopause isn’t a one-size-fits-all so sometimes it can be quite difficult to find someone who has gone through a similar experience to you. With The Menopausal Godmother bringing lots of likeminded women together, there’s a good chance you’ll find someone to talk to who can help you.

Access to Information and Advice

Online communities are a great way to access information and advice. The Menopausal Godmother in particular, was created by Emma Guy. Emma is an Acupuncture specialist who was plunged into a surgical menopause following breast cancer diagnosis.

Emma has brought together a range of ‘godmothers’ (specialists) in different areas such as nutritionists, and acupuncture specialists, that are active in the online community and are open to giving advice and recommendations based on your experiences.

Although Google has a ton of information, advice is often most effective when the expert you’re talking to can ask about your experience and give bespoke advice based on you!

Just Have a Chat

Sometimes, the best feeling can be just to get things of your chest or have a chat with someone about what you are going through. Online menopause support groups are full of women going through a similar experience to you so are the perfect place to talk to someone that can understand what you are going through.

The Menopausal Godmother is a light hearted, safe space which you can turn to whenever you need. Our Facebook page has tons of content you can read through. Some posts contain valuable, practical, information while other might just make you laugh and lighten up your day.
